it was in the taskbar by the clock and someone told me to right click and click on exit.
this removed it from the taskbar. They said it would come back on when I rebooted but it did not.
How do I make sure it is working ok and get it back in the taskbar.
I don't want to remove and reinstall as occasionally things don't reinstall right..so how can I be sure it is not disabled now that I am done with the scan that required me to disable my antivirus protection before doing a scan
I disabled avg free to do a scan by kaspersky.I am done with the scan %26 dont know how to reverse the disablingspyware removal
go to start-%26gt; programs-%26gt; avg and click on avg control center it will let you know the status of it

that should say and not ad Report It
go to the settings menu and select operational hazards. in the operational hazards menu check the box that says autoscan. then you need to unplug everything and turn it off, reinstall everything.
Reboot. AVG should be on and active again after doing so.

It usually not a good idea to have two anti-viruses running at the same time - they'll step on each other.
If this is Windows, go Start %26gt; All Programs - find AVG %26 start it from there. You can drag the icon onto the desktop from the Start menu - just hold CTRL while dragging %26 it'll stay in the Start menu.
can you see the avg tab on your desktop if it is there try and double click on that and it should automatically put it into your taskbar
I have the avg 7.5 Internet suite and i do often turn it off myself as it can do a full test all on its own even though i have changed it in settings so the way i have mentioned works for me i do not see why it will not work for you
