Go to Windows Explorer, My Computer, C Drive, Program Files, you probably have a folder for Norton Antivirus. Open up the different Norton file folders and look to see if there is a file that say Uninstall. If so, you can normally click on an Uninstall file and it will run the Uninstall program and remove that program from your computer. I agree with others who have answered your question about not using Norton, it can mess up your computer when you try to uninstall it sometimes. A much better Antivirus program is McAfee Viruscan and it is more user friendly too. Good Luck !!
Well you are doing it the right way. Are you sure that you are doing Add/Remove Software.
go to C: drive and open the Programme folder, look for Norton Antivirus and then delete it folder by folder, if a folder does not comply, open it and delete file by file
