Is this a good security combo for a laptop(not behind a router)?noton
Pretty much ok, though I would skip Spybot, as there are more often updated tools. Personally have bad experience with it, although it is highly recomended.
You might want to check SpywareBlaster to run together with either Ad-aware or Windows Defender. It works a bit differently and would increase security.

The best option i have found is using Panda. I use it on my laptop and im always on many different wireless networks. It has a constantly updating protection, built in firewall that works with windows firewall for double security as well as a spyware remover to get rid of that annoying crap on there. Usually runs about 60 bux for a 1 year subscription. This one program will eliminate all the others you are running as well as speed up the system some because you wont have as many processes running in the backgroundBut as you have it now it should be ok
Yes it is. Remember no PC security product can possibly protect you from every new spyware and malware threat. Some of these new threats would be undetected by most of the popular security programs, including the ones we all use. Some antivirus will detect spywares but can't delete them so don't think they don't work is just that they are not designed to solve those issues.
