My gmail keeps flashing when I try to get into it?

I just got a new computer with Vista.

Now, when I try to get on my gmail account, it just keeps reloading and reloading.

I thought it might be my free trial of norton antivirus, but I'm wondering if I have to turn the whole norton off to check it.

Does anyone have any suggestions for me.

try going to to your internet options under Tools. Click setting, view files, then select all those files and delete them.

It also be that gmail is down for a while.
