Tried using old CD, then computer screws up?

About a week ago, I inserted an old CD into my HP desktop computer containing a burned movie. However, when I tried to load the CD, my computer froze, and didn't shut off even when I pressed the power button. So I had no choice but to unplug the power. Since then, my computer has been acting up - it takes a REALLY long time to start up, most programs refuse to run, and it will not shut off sometimes. My friend suggested using System Restore - which I did, but it didn't help at all. So I ran some scans with Spybot, AVG Free Edition, and Norton Antivirus. Spybot cleared up some stuff, Norton found no errors, and AVG changed six files -

kernel32.dll, wsock32.dll, user32.dll, shell32.dll, ntoskrnl.exe, and hosts -

all of which were lcated in my C:\\Windows\system32 folder. I tried restarting my computer again, but again, it was reluctant to shut down or start up. I ran scans again, and AVG changed the same six things... How can i fix this?

I would delete Norton and AVG and download PC tools and run that, I found it to be far better than Norton and AVG, it is also free to download. Start the computer up and go to start, then run, then type in '' msconfig '', on the far right hand side you will see a folder that says start up, click on that, now disable everything you don't need in the start up, and reboot the computer, when the system is running again try this, go to start, then all programs, then accessories, then to system tools and click disk clean up and run it, then do the same thing again but go to disk defragmentor, click the analyze button and let it run, when that is done close the small window tab and run defragmentor, when that is done restart the computer again, if that does not do the trick then you might have to reload windows, hope this had helped and good luck.
