Problem with yahoo messenger with voice 8 (latest),please help?

I get ' internet explorer script error' whenever I click on

anything in the conversation window.

keyboard shortcuts like f3 , alt-shift-v are working

I can't cut copy and paste even with keyboard shortcut in conversation window.--i get same error

this happened since I upgraded yahoo messenger from 7 to 8. I am using Internet explorer 6

I am using windows xp home edition

i use mcAfee antivirus and zonealarm free firewall

First try: uninstall Yahoo! Messenger and reinstall it.

Second try: Upgrade Windows XP

Third try: Reinstall Windows

Last try: Use some other multi-protocol messenger clients like GAIM, MirandaIM, or web-based Meebo.com
